Sasha Zaburdaeva
Sascha Zaburdaeva attended Moscow Gnessin's Music College , one of the most selective schools in Russia . During her studies she performed with such Moscow Orchestra as the Russian Youth Symphony, Youth Talents of Moscow, playing at the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Kremlin's Hall and other major halls. After graduation, Sascha moved to New York and continued her studies with Julliard teachers Masao Kawasaki and Itzhak Perlman. Ms. Zaburdaeva has a rich experience as soloist, chamber musician and currently sits as First Violinist at the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. Having multiple degrees in violin performance and pedagogy, she maintains a well-established teaching studio for students of all ages at RDL Strings (207-941-0291) in Bangor Maine . Sascha is a tireless advocate for spreading great music throughout the State of Maine .

Laura Gallucci
Violist Laura is a full time private music teacher and freelance musician. She teaches a studio of nearly 60 students of violin and viola at RDL Strings in Bangor. She is the Principal Violist of the Bangor Symphony, and has freelanced with the Mount Desert Island Chorale Orchestra, Maine Grand Opera, and a variety of orchestras at Maine Center for the Arts. She is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music at which she studied with violist James Dunham of the Cleveland Quartet. She is also the co-founder of the "Celtic-tinged" Hard Folk band St. Huckleberry, in which she has played electric viola, violin, fiddle, bass and piano. She and her husband, singer / songwriter Michael Gallucci, have co-written and recorded more than 120 original pieces of music.
